History Channel’s ‘WWII in HD’
When History announced its development slate a couple months back, there was one item in their release that sounded really interesting: Taking vintage World War 2 film footage and converting it into high definition for the first time.
At the network’s press tour panel in Pasadena today, History opened with a trailer for the resulting project, “WWII in HD,” and the images were stunning.
Keep in mind, this online video’s resolution is not HD, but it still gives you some idea of the improved clarity…
